Training Partners Need to be Supporters
Training Partners Need to be Supporters

For many men & women, training is a luxury. For parents, homeowners, & professionals, the time spent at the gym takes on vital importance. Not everyone trains 45 minutes out of choice; therefore, the time spent must be productive from beginning to end. Typically, folks either train alone or with a partner, but I can’t even begin to stress what are some factors that shouldn’t come into play. Don’t train with a buddy because you feel sorry for your friend. Don’t ever feel obligated to train with someone because you think you’ll lose the friendship. Don’t train with your significant other just because you’re in love… The bottom line is, you pick someone you have a lot in common with. If you’re taking Trenavar Extreme, Deca Creatine, & have BCAA Stack on deck during your whole workout, then chances are you’re not going to mesh well with a pencil neck living off Herbalife cleanses & subsisting on a starvation diet. The reality is, friendships come later – if at all. If you’re looking for a training partner, look for a clone.
If on the other hand you train on your own, then you most certainly have to be your own strongest critic. Sure, there’s folks who practically fall in love with themselves in the mirror, but if you’re serious about building an aesthetic, symmetrical physique, you have to be able to recognize your flaws & chart your progress.
When you’re training, you can’t afford the luxury of being all things to all people. Focus on yourself & yourself alone.
