Supplement Timing – Keys to the Kingdom

Finding choice supplements is no cake-walk these days. There’s literally dozens of brands to choose from at popular online retailers; there’s also products pushed by sales associates at brick & mortar establishments. Many times the salespeople haven’t the faintest clue as far as the product, but they want to pocket some commission money. But hey, you’re on the Tokkyo Nutrition Blog, so something tells me, I’m dealing with a supplement consumer whose brushed up on his/her homework. You’ve found the gold standard, but don’t go celebrating just yet. It’s true, Tokkyo products are the best, but you have to know how & when to take them.
Sports & supplement science has come a long way and as much we enjoy convenience, there are real limits to all things. For example, some staple supplements in just about any lifters arsenal would include Tokkyo Protein, BCAA Stack, Glutamine Stack, & a solid pre-workout. At Tokkyo, we have many great pre-workout products. My personal choices would be Diesel Fuel Pump & our new product, Carnage. I like to use BCAA Stack during my workout, Tokkyo Protein immediately after, and Glutamine Stack throughout the rest of the day, including during rest days. Although we could make one giant shake with all these powerful agents in one, convenient shake, it would counteract all the amazing gains to be made. Taking supplements is as much a calculated endeavour as consuming your meals.
Remember, he who wants muscle, must be willing to put the time in.
