Creatine: Preworkout vs. Standalone?

Creatine: Preworkout vs. Standalone?
By Christian Duque
I just did a video on this, but there’s obvious limitations in what someone can say in a 59 second video on Instagram. Let’s address the question more effectively here. Many, faithful, Tokkyo Nutrition customers have presented me with this question over the last few months and I feel like it’s time to address their concerns in a blog post. We live in a time where everyone is looking for deals. Money is tight – and let’s face it – TN isn’t in the discount bin area of the fitness industry. Our customers demand the highest quality, but like anyone else, want a deal wherever they can find one. That having been said, I have some good news and some bad news. We’re all big, bad muscleheads here, so we can take just about anything, especially the truth!!
The bottom line is that everyone is obsessed with preworkout products. They want the energy, the thermogenic properties, and they want to burn fat – fast! These are all great reasons to take a product like Diesel Fuel Stim; however, the amount of creatine in even the best pre-workout (like ours), should not serve as a substitute for a standalone product like Deca Creatine, which has 3 different types of creatine in every 5g serving. The creatine in Diesel Fuel Stim, along with other powerful elements, creates a proprietary, multi-faceted surge of strength, energy, and vasodilation that brings about maximum output in workouts.

Creatine is perhaps the most miraculous natural, non-hormonal supplement in a natural bodybuilder’s arsenal. It pulls water to the muscle, expands it in size, increases energy and accelerates recovery. In many ways, it looks and acts like an anabolic without any of the side effects. Also, unlike gear, there is never any need to off-cycle (provided enough water is consumed). Therefore, if an avid gym goer, bodybuilder, or endurance athlete is looking for the benefits in this powerful, legal, and safe product, he/she cannot skimp by with a minimal dosage.
The amount of creatine found in Diesel Fuel Stim is enough to permit great workouts, but nowhere near enough to prevent someone from also supplementing with Deca Creatine – that’s a key point that we all hope will be gleaned from this article. It’s safe and advisable to take both! In the end, the muscle-building process is not a simple one. It’s definitely not one couched in convenience. There is going to be constant study, trial & error, and room for improvement. Thanks for all the questions. It’s YOUR questions that guarantee we’ll always stay on our feet and ahead of the competition.
Thank you for your business and your hunger for knowledge.
