Are Group Classes for Women?
Are Group Classes for Women?

Go to any fitness club or gym in America & you’ll find a schedule for group classes, whether it’s zumba, pilates, body flow or cycling-based programs. These sessions are generally calorie-busting experiences that whip just about anyone into shape. Additionally, they’re also fun social activities where you can get to know other gym members in a fun, athletic environment. There’s no question these classes present a huge benefit to serious physique & strength-based athletes. Although I wouldn’t advise these courses during contest prep (where competitors need the statistical information provided by machines), they would be a great during the off-season for general fitness purposes. Besides, who likes machine all year? Variety is the spice of life.
We also need to stop assigning gender roles to exercises, pieces of cardio equipment, and/or sections of the gym. Guys can wear pink & gals can wear blue. Muscle is muscle, it’s not masculine or feminine. If you’re an insecure person, work on it, or simply stay home.
Finally, once you’ve picked out the class you want to jump into, don’t forget to have a quality pre-workout product on deck. I recommend a product like Diesel Fuel Pump from Tokkyo Nutrition. You can purchase the stim-free or stim options – or – you can pick up the stack!! Remember to use discount code “buildmuscle” & you’ll save 10% off your purchase!! And as usual, when you shop TN, you’ll enjoy tax-free shopping year – round!!
